This is the dreaded “peninsula” area that used to exist in our yard. For some unknown reason, the previous owners had created a flower bed in the middle of the yard with the tree in front at the very edge. We moved the rocks around so that the flower bed area is now around the tree and have been letting the grass grow into that area. A fair number of tulips and crocuses still remain and sprout up each year. Unfortunately, the near-bare ground proved to be perfect for dandelions as well.
Is this your lawn—– or garden spot
