Even a Non-Drinker and Non-Gambler Can Enjoy Las Vegas
Shauna and I spent the weekend in Las Vegas to celebrate our third anniversary (go us!) and had a blast. We stayed at the Venetian (A++ would stay again), ate at some awesome restaurants and saw these guys:
Holy. Crap. Why did we put off seeing this show for so long? I have no earthly idea. It's the most awesome show I've ever seen and yet, I can't really describe it. It's part performance art, part sketch comedy, part concert and all fun. The Guggenheim Museum and Sigfried and Roy's Secret Garden were mere time-passers by comparison.
I think I have a new appreciation for Las Vegas now that I've been a tourist and not a resident.
Oooh, lucky!
We’ve wanted to see BMG for a long time, but someone told us the show was fairly short and for the price of the tickets it wasn’t really worth it.
I take it you disagree?
Definitely disagree. Although, we did get a pretty good deal, I’d say. Since the show is at the Venetian, you can book a deal with the hotel room and the show tickets included. If you booked the show separately, it really would be quite pricey. I think they are normally around $80 each? But the package basically cuts the cost of the tickets in half. And since the Venetian was such a nice hotel to stay at, I would definitely recommend the combo package to anyone. BMG is a must see.
